Underwood Smith Teaching Scholars helps recent high school graduates pursue rewarding careers as WV teachers in math, science, elementary education or special education
Underwood Smith Teacher Scholarship Loan Assistance allows up to $3,000 annually to be paid toward federal student loans if the graduate agrees to teach mathematics, science, special education, elementary education, and counseling in West Virginia.
West Virginia STEM Scholarship is available to qualified students interested in pursuing an education in engineering, science or technology.
West Virginia Nursing Scholarship program offers awards to students pursuing LPN, RN, LPN teaching or master’s or doctoral nursing education who are willing to stay in West Virginia.
The HEAPS grant encourages and enables West Virginia students who demonstrate financial need to continue their education on a part-time basis at undergraduate institutions of higher education
