The purpose of this SNAP E&T partnership is to help program recipients participate in activities that will enhance their employment opportunities or help them gain employment. WVRWA offers a paid 2-year nationally recognized apprenticeship program that focuses on water and wastewater treatment and water management. Participants are placed in municipal water sectors and learn as they earn. The partnership will be available statewide. This employment and training program covers cost of participant training and expenses related to training, such as books and equipment.
